Word of the Day - Planogram

And the word of the day is...

PLANOGRAM
"A diagram or model that indicates the placement of retail products on shelves in order to maximize sales."

This word is almost as good as KNOLLING. Both terms pull up lots of purdy pictures on a Google image search.

FYI, Knolling is the process of arranging related objects in parallel or 90-degree angles as a method of organization. (see below)

What does any of this have to do with writing? I'm not sure. ...But give me a minute, and I'll think of something!

You're right that a well-designed planogram is very fun to look at because every item of inventory is so meticulously put into place.
